Two members of the US House of Representatives have introduced a bill to replace Benjamin Franklin’s portrait on the $100 bill with that of US President Donald Trump.
Republican House Representatives Brandon Gill and Troy Nehls announced the bill they introduced on their social media accounts, naming it the “Golden Age 2025 Act,” a reference to Trump’s “golden age of America” rhetoric for his second term.

GOLDEN AGE EMPHASIS

“No one has done more to bring America into a golden age than President Trump,” Nehls wrote in his post, while Gill called for support for the bill, saying, “Let’s make history.” If the bill becomes law, Trump’s image would be on $100 bills to be printed starting December 31, 2028. Last week, Republican Rep. Joe Wilson introduced a bill to issue a new $250 bill with Trump’s image on it.

MELANIA TRUMP SUPPORTS ‘DEEP FAKE’ BAN

In the US , public support for the Take It Down bill, which aims to ban content that imitates famous people using artificial intelligence, also known as “deep fakes,” is increasing day by day. US President Donald Trump’s wife, First Lady Melania Trump, is among those who support the bill.

WENT TO CONGRESS

Melania Trump said that the bill should become law at a meeting held in the Congress building the other day, saying that everyone has the right to express themselves safely online. The bill would require social media platforms and technology companies to remove child abuse material and sexually explicit images within 48 hours of the victim’s notification.

On the other hand, the bill also includes comprehensive measures against abusive behaviors such as “revenge videos” created with artificial intelligence, that is, private content sent by couples to each other, circulating on the internet after intercourse.
